As you can see the finish is a marked change.
But saying this there is only so many times you can polish gel coat and a even less time you can polish paint.
As a rule AwlGrip is polished only once after about 4/5 years then repainted, never just after a paint job.
Awlcraft can be polished after a paint job to remove defects and a few times down the road.

Washing your boat is not something you want to do after a day out on the water, or the day after, but its fine Ill do it next weekend! well when I get around to it!
